The project
Colfuturo supports Colombian professionals seeking postgraduate studies abroad. Since 1992, it has supported more than 17,000 students through its Loan-Scholarship Program, advisory services, and beneficiary network. With more than 120 agreements, it leads the development of high-level talent in Colombia.
Collaboration with Servinformación was key to our migration from IBM Cloud to Google Cloud. Its management ensured a controlled transition, meeting objectives such as stronger security, correct network segmentation, and cost optimization. We are satisfied with the support and results achieved.

The challenge
Colfuturo sought to optimize costs and modernize its infrastructure to encourage innovation. Migration to Google Cloud was key, enabling better cost control through a service agreement based on best practices. It also provided access to cutting-edge tools, improving flexibility and responsiveness in a demanding digital environment.
The solution
Migration to Google Cloud optimized Colfuturo's technology infrastructure, ensuring a more secure, scalable, and efficient environment. An orderly process was implemented, strengthening security and access control. Monitoring tools were also enabled, and the team was trained to manage the new infrastructure.
Project results
Colfuturo's migration to Google Cloud optimized costs compared with IBM, leveraging sustained use discounts in Compute Engine and Cloud SQL. Security was strengthened with IAM and VPC Service Controls, and operational efficiency improved by reducing load and execution times. Both organizations were fully satisfied with the results.
