The challenge
Ensure effectiveness and reliability in automating a process that eliminates manual intervention when comparing résumés, supporting documents, and vacancy requirements to verify job applicants. A scalable, efficient system is also needed to handle large numbers of requests and respond quickly.
The solution
Using Vision API and AutoML, models were implemented to identify, classify, and read applicants' documents to validate the information entered on the current platform. A model was also implemented to compare document metadata against the requirements applicants must meet, ensuring they have the required experience and education.
Project results
The solution eliminates the manual process of checking documents against the information supplied by job applicants and comparing it with vacancy requirements. It has a cost-effective, scalable serverless architecture that can respond quickly while maintaining data privacy and integrating with existing platforms.
The National Civil Registry Commission (CNSC) obtained a system capable of efficiently handling a process that had been performed manually, providing the reliability, security, and scalability required to meet mission-critical business requirements at a lower cost.
